Rained like all getout last night. There was scattered flooding down close to where my wife works (the rain lasted longer and was heavier in that area and
further east). Although some had problems getting to work, her route home was clear.
Oh the weather outside is frightful!

Some clouds today, but no real threat of rain. There's a chance of scattered rain tomorrow, mostly early, but the best news is an extended period of
temperatures in the mid-low 80's beginning on Monday. Maybe I can get all the yard mowed down at one time, for one thing.

Our weather forcast said that our heatwave was beginning this weekend.
Last night was the coldest in weeks and we haven't seen the garden for 2 days because of cold damp fog. Hmmm That sounds about right.

Pleasant in the morning yesterday; but torrential rain and thunder storms in the afternoon & evening.
It is hot and muggy at night. We are having to use a fan in order to get a little sleep.

We've had a lovely day today. The sun shone. It was about 80 but there was a gentle breeze.
I could not go out in temps like yours as I cannot stand extremes of heat or cold.

Altogether, I think I'd rather be outside in 90+ temps than inside if I could find some shade. It all depends, of course, on what you're accustomed to

Being so far north, we rarely see the sun or feel heat from it. On the rare occasions that we do get a heat wave - which for us is the 80's - everyone
rushes outside and gets fried. Haha !

The local forecasters are talking like 80s may be more common than 90s this summer. I'll take it, if so. It'd be a nice change. Usually we have at
least some weeks in the 90s during the summer.

07 24 and the sky is covered in grey clouds. I hope it brightens up a bit later.
We have some beautiful countryside here but the weather is rarely warm enough to be outside and enjoy it. That is why people go across to southern Europe for their holidays.

Grey clouds and rain most of the day today and it is rather cool.
